Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Timberline Professional Firefighters, IAFF Local 5632 (“Local 5632,” “we,” “us”) collects through iaff5632.org and how we use it.

Information we collect

Contact form: your name, email address, mobile phone number (if you provide it), your message, and whether you agreed to receive text messages.
Store orders, dues, and initiation payments: payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your name, email address, phone number, billing or shipping address, and payment card or bank details. We receive your order and contact details from Stripe; we never see or store your full card or bank account numbers.
Merchandise interest survey: your name, email address, and the items and notes you submit.
Information stored in your browser: your shopping cart is saved in your browser so it is still there when you return, and a member passcode you enter is remembered only until you close the browser. This information stays on your device. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies or tracking tools.

How we use your information

To respond to your messages and requests.
To process, fulfill, and keep records of orders, dues, and initiation payments.
To send text messages, only if you have agreed to receive them.
To operate and protect this website.

We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

We use trusted third parties to run this website: Stripe for payments (see Stripe’s privacy policy), Netlify for website hosting and form submissions, and email providers to receive form notifications. They handle your information only to provide these services to us.

Text messaging

We will not share text messaging originator opt-in data and consent, provided that the foregoing does not apply to sharing (1) with vendors, consultants and other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf (and who will not use such information for their own purposes); (2) if we believe disclosure is required by any applicable law, rule, or regulation or to comply with law enforcement or legal process; and (3) if the user consents to our sharing of such information.

Keeping your information

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including union recordkeeping, and we take reasonable steps to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, with the date above updated.
